Halflings of this region are often a bit isolationist, tending to let other people handle big issues and fight wars while they continue to work on and share their books, art, and music. This is not to say that Halflings have not had a hand in shaping history, or are incapable of handling themselves in war, just that if they can avoid such things, most groups of halflings will.
